The Problem
Most professional trading platforms like TradingView are powerful but expensive or intimidating for students just getting into finance and investing. There’s no hands-on tool built for learning — where you can explore real markets, practice trades, and build intuition without risking real money.
What We’re Building
A web-based trading platform that combines live market data with AI-powered insights:
- Live charts — real-time and historical pricing charts for US equities, with technical indicators
- Paper trading — place simulated buy/sell orders with a virtual account to practice strategies risk-free
- Price alerts — set custom alerts when a stock hits a target price or crosses a moving average
- AI market assistant — ask questions about a stock, get summaries of recent news, and request plain-English explanations of chart patterns
- Portfolio tracker — monitor your paper positions and P&L over time
